The Challenge

Centrica Energy Storage has a complex network of systems that are currently undergoing a transformation. As with many complex, technical products, explaining this to the public and government stakeholders can be a challenge. Furthermore as a project concerning Britain’s transition to green power, it is of vital importance that this communication is clear to ensure continued support for the project.

The solution

We worked closely with the technical team at Centrica Energy Storage, to understand their technical requirements, translating that into easy to digest content for the general public and government stakeholders. We supplied them with a highly polished full length animation, written to be split into sections that can be published and shared over multiple channels including social media and internal networks. We then utilised the 3D models created for the animation and optimised them into an augmented reality app, to showcase and highlight further details about the new infrastructure. This gave Centrica’s key stakeholders multiple touch points to engage with the project.
Animated Technologies really delivered the Wow! factor when it came to delivering an animation showcasing CES+ ambitions. Internal and external stakeholders have been very impressed with what has been delivered and it brings our projects to life. We can't wait to present the Augmented Reality model of our projects to external stakeholders, such as the UK government to really give them a feel of what we are trying to achieve. CES+ look forward to working with Animated Technologies on future projects.

I really enjoyed working with Animated Technologies, they are really friendly and understood the vision for what we wanted very quickly - then took it further with their own thoughts and ideas. They were a pleasure to work with.
